The Ministry has operationalized a record 550 cotton procurement centres across 11 states to ensure efficient and transparent procurement processes. The 'Kapas-Kisaan' app has been introduced to empower farmers with digital registration and real-time payment tracking. Local Monitoring Committees and WhatsApp helplines have been established for grievance redressal, emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to a farmer-centric approach.
