Ministry of Tourism Enhances MICE Initiatives with New Guidelines
The Ministry of Tourism in India has initiated a series of measures aimed at boosting MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism across the country. This includes the establishment of MICE Promotion Bureaus and a detailed National Strategy and Roadmap focused on enhancing the competitiveness and ease of doing business in the MICE sector. As part of the acclaimed 'Incredible India' campaign, 'Meet in India' has been introduced to promote India's capacity as a MICE hub, highlighting top-tier connectivity and infrastructure. A Digital MICE Catalogue has been created to support event planners by showcasing facilities across 60+ Indian cities.
