The Ministry of Tourism has provided new guidelines for Swadesh Darshan 2.0 aimed at enhancing destination management and development via a strategic National Institutional Framework. The Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee, the Mission Directorate, and other state frameworks are integral to these reforms. A Program Management Information System has been implemented to unify digital project tracking and information distribution for tourism projects, with the introduction of the Tourism Experience Development and Management Agency to bolster the operation and management of assets.
