Ministry of Tourism Promotes MICE Destinations in India

The Ministry of Tourism has identified MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) as a key segment of tourism in India. It has developed a National Strategy and Roadmap to enhance the MICE industry, providing financial assistance to state governments for infrastructure development. Various projects for convention centers across different states have been sanctioned to promote MICE tourism, as highlighted by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in a Lok Sabha reply.
