Ministry of Tourism Sanctions Projects Under PRASHAD Scheme

The Ministry of Tourism has sanctioned 54 projects under the PRASHAD scheme, aimed at enhancing tourism infrastructure at religious and heritage sites across India, with an estimated cost of Rs.1726.74 Crores. Additionally, 40 projects have been approved under the SASCI scheme for iconic tourist centers, totaling Rs.3295.76 Crores. This initiative was announced by Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
