Ministry of Tourism's PRASAD and Swadesh Darshan Schemes

The Ministry of Tourism has launched the PRASHAD scheme to enhance tourism infrastructure at religious and heritage sites across India, sanctioning 54 projects in 28 states. The Swadesh Darshan scheme has also been revamped to promote sustainable tourism, with 76 projects approved for Rs. 5290.30 Crore and an additional 52 projects under Swadesh Darshan 2.0 for Rs. 2108.87 Crore.
