Ministry of Tribal Affairs Expands Outreach Efforts for Tribal Loan Schemes in Maharashtra

The National Scheduled Tribes Finance & Development Corporation (NSTFDC), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, is intensifying efforts to disseminate information on concessional loan schemes for Scheduled Tribes. Despite the availability of schemes like the Adivasi Shiksha Rrinn Yojana (ASRY), no proposals have been received from Maharashtra's implementing agencies in five years. To address this, NSTFDC is enhancing outreach in remote tribal areas through awareness camps and partner exhibitions, and developing a Loan Management System to expedite loan proposal processing.
