The Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Shri Durgadas Uikey, provided an update in Lok Sabha regarding the various autonomous and non-autonomous organizations under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. He highlighted the funds disbursed to Scheduled Castes and the number of beneficiaries under NSTFDC schemes over the past five years. Additionally, he reported on the monitoring of 485 EMRSs by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) and the state-wise enrollment figures for the last three years, including significant growth in Chhattisgarh.
