Ministry Reviews Forest Rights Act Implementation: 85% Claims Settled

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs shared progress on the implementation of the Scheduled Tribes And Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006. Approximately 85.40% of claims have been settled across 20 states and 1 union territory, according to the latest reports.
