MoD Reviews Defence Acquisition Procedure 2020 for National Reforms

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has launched a comprehensive review of the Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) 2020, aiming to align it with the Government of India's policies and initiatives. A committee led by the Director General (Acquisition) will engage with stakeholders, including industry and academia, to gather suggestions by July 5, 2025. The review focuses on enhancing operational requirements, promoting self-reliance, and facilitating defence manufacturing in India, while seeking input on policy changes and procedural clarity.
