Modi Government's Success in Reducing Naxalism

The Modi government has significantly reduced the number of districts affected by Naxalism, bringing it down to 3 most affected districts and 11 LWE affected districts. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, operational successes have included the elimination of 312 LWE cadres, the arrest of 836, and 1639 individuals surrendering to join the mainstream. The government aims to completely eradicate the Naxal menace by March 31, 2026, through a multi-pronged approach outlined in the National Action Plan.
