MoFPI Initiatives to Support FPOs and SHGs

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) is promoting the development of food processing industries through various schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana, Production Linked Incentive Scheme, and the PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme. These initiatives provide grants to Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and cooperatives, with 166 FPO proposals, 1228 SHG proposals, and 61 cooperative proposals approved so far, as stated by Minister Shri Ravneet Singh in Lok Sabha.
