MoFPI Progresses with Agro Processing Clusters Under PMKSY

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) is actively implementing the Agro Processing Clusters (APC) scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) to develop modern infrastructure for setting up food processing units across India. The scheme provides grants-in-aid of 35% in general areas and 50% in the North Eastern and other challenging regions, with a maximum of Rs.10 crore per project. As of December 2025, 40 agro processing clusters have been approved since 2020. These clusters are designed to enhance infrastructure and investment opportunities, promoting private-public partnerships and benefiting thousands of farmers.
