MoHUA Approves 2.88 Lakh Houses under PMAY-Urban 2.0
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, led by Secretary Srinivas Katikithala, approved an additional 2.88 lakh houses under PMAY-Urban 2.0 during the sixth meeting of the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee. With this, the total number of houses sanctioned under the scheme stands at 13.61 lakh. The initiative notably benefits women, senior citizens, and various economically disadvantaged groups, ensuring access to affordable housing across 16 states and union territories in India.
