MoHUA Launches Monsoon Swachhata Campaign 2025
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has launched the 'Safai Apnao, Bimaari Bhagao' (SABB) campaign from July 1-31, 2025, to enhance urban sanitation during the monsoon season. The campaign aims to reduce public health risks by addressing clogged drains, garbage hotspots, and promoting hygiene practices, especially in vulnerable areas. Citizens are encouraged to participate in maintaining cleanliness and preventing water-borne diseases through six key mantras. The initiative will involve local urban bodies and partnerships with various organizations to ensure effective waste management and sanitation efforts.
