MOIL Begins Manganese Ore Exports as State Trading Enterprise

MOIL has successfully dispatched its first shipment of 54,600 tonnes of manganese ore fines from Visakhapatnam to Indonesia, marking a significant milestone in India's manganese ore exports. Appointed as a State Trading Enterprise (STE) by the Government of India, MOIL is responsible for exporting manganese ore below 46% Mn grade. This initiative is expected to enhance India's global presence and boost foreign earnings, as the country has a surplus of low-grade manganese ore.
