Monthly Financial Review of Government of India - April 2025
The Government of India reported a total receipt of ₹2,79,288 crore for April 2025, which includes ₹1,89,669 crore from tax revenue, ₹67,160 crore from non-tax revenue, and ₹22,459 crore from non-debt capital receipts. Additionally, ₹81,735 crore was transferred to state governments as tax devolution, marking an increase of ₹11,860 crore from the previous year. Total expenditure for the month was ₹4,65,620 crore, with significant allocations for interest payments and major subsidies.
