The Ministry of Finance has published the monthly accounts of the Government of India up to August 2025. The total receipts amount to ₹12,82,709 crore, with tax revenue at ₹8,10,407 crore and non-tax revenue at ₹4,40,332 crore. The government has transferred ₹5,30,148 crore to states, an increase of ₹74,431 crore from the previous year. Total expenditure is ₹18,80,862 crore, with significant allocations for interest payments and subsidies.
