Monthly Financial Review of Government of India (May 2025)
The Ministry of Finance has published the monthly accounts of the Government of India up to May 2025. The total receipts amount to ₹7,32,963 crore, with tax revenue at ₹3,50,862 crore and non-tax revenue at ₹3,56,877 crore. Total expenditure is ₹7,46,126 crore, with significant allocations for interest payments and subsidies. Notably, ₹1,63,471 crore has been transferred to state governments, marking an increase from the previous year.
