MoS Shobha Karandlaje Inaugurates Labour & Employment Regional Conference in Vijayawada
Union Minister of State for Labour & Employment, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, commenced a two-day Regional Conference in Vijayawada to discuss the implementation of the four newly consolidated Labour Codes among States and UTs. The conference, part of a series initiated by the Ministry, aimed at seamless execution of these reforms, fostering discussions on crucial issues related to Employees´ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), and Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana. The gathering highlighted cooperative federalism, process simplification, and the extension of social security to workers.
