MoU Signed to Enhance Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS) to promote inclusive education through 'Project Inclusion'. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of educators and stakeholders involved in the education of children with disabilities, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The project will utilize a mobile app and web platform for training and awareness, and will also focus on expanding to remote areas like Leh.
