MSME Ministry Boosts Growth of Micro and Small Enterprises Through Cluster Development
The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is executing the Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) in India, aiming to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of Micro and Small Enterprises. The initiative focuses on financial aid to establish Common Facility Centers and improve infrastructure. Since 2015-16, 242 such centers and 513 clusters, under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries, have been approved, with significant developments in states like Punjab.
