MSME Ministry Boosts SC/ST Entrepreneurship Through NSSH Scheme

The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is actively promoting entrepreneurship among Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) through the National SC/ST Hub (NSSH) Scheme. This initiative aims to increase SC/ST involvement in public procurement, mandating a 4% inclusion from SC/ST micro and small enterprises. The scheme provides various forms of support, including financial assistance for registration and participation in exhibitions. Over the past five years, nearly 3,929 SC/ST entrepreneurs have benefited from these initiatives, costing Rs. 36.41 crore.
