MSME Ministry Champions Energy Efficiency with New Initiatives

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is implementing multiple schemes to promote energy efficiency and green practices. These initiatives include the MSME Sustainable (ZED) and MSME Competitive Lean components of the MSME Champion Scheme, along with MSE-GIFT and MSE-SPICE schemes. Financial supports such as consultancy fees, technology upgrade subsidies, and interest subventions are offered to aid MSMEs in transitioning to eco-friendly practices. These efforts were detailed by Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, in the Rajya Sabha.
