MSME Ministry Launches Trade Enablement and Marketing Scheme

The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in India has announced the launch of the Trade Enablement and Marketing (TEAM) Scheme. This initiative, under the overarching Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, aims to leverage Digital Public Infrastructure to enhance e-commerce opportunities for MSMEs. Over the next three years, with a budget of Rs. 277.35 crore, the scheme expects to benefit 500,000 Micro and Small Enterprises, with a special focus on ensuring half of these are women-owned. The TEAM Scheme seeks to simplify MSMEs' digital engagement by providing access to ready-made online storefronts, integrated digital payment solutions, and logistical support through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), a government-backed digital platform.
