MTNL Pensioners Transition to SAMPANN Portal: A Milestone in Digital Pension Services
The Ministry of Communications announced the successful onboarding of MTNL pensioners onto the SAMPANN portal. Spearheaded by the Controller General of Communication Accounts, Vandana Gupta, this initiative integrates 45,939 pensioners from Delhi and Mumbai onto a digital platform, enhancing pension management with digital processing, disbursement, and grievance redressal. Commencing in December 2025, the system promises timely, rule-based pension management and improved service transparency for retirees, marking a significant evolution in pension administration.
