The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, is urging citizens to join the Nasha Mukti Mitr initiative as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. This campaign, facilitated by the NMBA App 2.0, aims to combat substance abuse by enlisting ordinary citizens at the grassroots level. Over 28,000 individuals have already registered as Mitras, engaging in various community support and awareness activities to fight drug addiction.
