National Adoption Awareness Month 2025 Focuses on Children with Special Needs

The Ministry of Women and Child Development, through the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), is launching a month-long campaign in November 2025 to raise awareness about the adoption of children with special needs. The campaign, themed 'Non-Institutionalized Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs', includes various online and offline activities, such as poster competitions and sharing adoption stories. The initiative aims to break myths surrounding adoption and celebrate the transformative power it brings to families. A special logo and hashtag '#EveryChildMatters' have been created for the campaign, which will also feature interactive sessions and community events across various states in India.
