National Consultation on Gender Budgeting by Ministry of Women and Child Development
The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, will hold a National Consultation on Gender Budgeting on June 19, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Union Minister Smt. Annpurna Devi will launch the Gender Budgeting Knowledge Hub, a digital portal for policymakers. The event will involve participation from 45 Central Ministries/Departments, 20 States, and experts from UN Women and the Asian Development Bank, aiming to enhance gender budgeting practices and promote inclusive development for women and girls as part of India's vision for a self-reliant and gender-equal nation by 2047.
