National Geoscience Awards 2024 Ceremony Announced

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will confer the National Geoscience Awards 2024 on September 26, 2025, at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, New Delhi. The awards, established in 1966, honor significant contributions in geosciences, with 12 awards to be presented this year, including a Lifetime Achievement Award to Prof. Shyam Sundar Rai and a Young Geoscientist Award to Shri Susobhan Neogi. The event will be attended by prominent figures in the field.
