The Ministry of Minority Affairs is set to hold a National Haj Conference in Mumbai on November 22, 2025, focusing on improving cooperation between State/UT Haj Committees and the Haj Committee of India. The conference will review preparations for Haj 2026, addressing key areas such as accommodation, logistics, transportation, training of Haj assistants, and medical preparedness to ensure a safe and dignified pilgrimage for over 175,000 Indian Haj pilgrims annually.
