National Horticulture Mission Progress Report

The National Horticulture Mission, part of the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), has been operational since 2014, covering an additional 15.66 lakh hectares under horticulture crops by July 2025. The productivity of horticulture crops has increased from 12.10 MT/ha in 2019-20 to 12.56 MT/ha in 2024-25. Over the last five years, significant infrastructure developments have been made, including 55,748 post-harvest management facilities and 11,140 marketing infrastructures. The scheme is implemented by state governments, which also maintain beneficiary and employment data.
