National Quantum Mission Launched to Boost Quantum Technologies in India

The Indian government has initiated the National Quantum Mission (NQM) with a budget of ₹6003.65 crore over eight years to enhance research and development in quantum technologies. Four Thematic Hubs focusing on Quantum Computing, Communication, Sensing & Metrology, and Materials & Devices have been established, involving 43 institutions.
