National Supercomputing Mission Enhances India's Research Capabilities

The National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) has successfully installed 37 supercomputers with a total capacity of 40 Petaflops, supporting over 10,000 researchers across various fields. The initiative aims to achieve self-reliance in supercomputing, with indigenous development of technologies like the PARAM Rudra supercomputers. The mission has also trained over 26,000 individuals in High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), fostering talent and enhancing research capabilities in India.
