The Ministry of Textiles, in collaboration with the Government of Assam, is organizing the National Textiles Ministers’ Conference on January 8-9, 2026, in Guwahati. Under the theme "India’s Textiles: Weaving Growth, Heritage & Innovation," the conference aims to align with India’s vision of developing a USD 350 billion textile industry by 2030 and to discuss strategies for positioning India as a global textile hub. Various sessions will focus on infrastructure, exports, competitiveness, and traditional textiles revitalization.
