National Workshop on Mangrove Conservation Held in Andhra Pradesh
A national-level workshop on the Mangrove Initiative for Shoreline Habitats and Tangible Incomes (MISHTI) took place in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on January 8th and 9th, 2026. The event, inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, focused on sustainable mangrove conservation efforts, ecosystem restoration, and generating livelihood opportunities for coastal communities.
