National Young Chef Competition Launched to Celebrate Indian Culinary Heritage
The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, launched the National Young Chef Competition (NYCC) in New Delhi. The initiative aims to discover and showcase culinary talent among final-year hospitality students, emphasizing the preservation of India's culinary traditions. The competition will feature zonal rounds across India, culminating in a grand finale in January 2026. Workshops will also be held to address declining enrollment in hospitality education. The event is supported by over 130 hospitality institutions and various industry partners.
