Nationwide Awareness Campaign on Unclaimed Financial Assets Launched

The Ministry of Finance, led by Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, will launch a three-month nationwide campaign titled "आपकी पूँजी, आपका अधिकार" (Your Money, Your Right) on October 4, 2025, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The campaign aims to raise awareness about unclaimed financial assets, including insurance claims, bank deposits, and mutual fund proceeds. Citizens will receive guidance on how to search for and claim their unclaimed assets, with digital tools and demonstrations provided. The initiative seeks to empower citizens and promote financial inclusion across households in India.
