On September 25, 2025, the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL) organized a one-hour cleanliness drive called 'Swachhata Shramdaan' in New Delhi, led by Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar. Over 200 participants, including senior officials, students, and teachers, took part in this initiative, which is part of the Swachhata Hi Sewa campaign running from September 17 to October 2, 2025. The campaign aims to promote hygiene and environmental responsibility among students through various activities, with significant participation reported in the first week.
