Navy Day 2025 Celebrations Showcase Indian Naval Prowess

The Indian Navy celebrated Navy Day 2025 with an impressive 'Operational Demonstration' at Shangumugham Beach, Thiruvananthapuram. The event, held on December 3, 2025, highlighted the Navy's combat capabilities, technological excellence, and operational readiness. The Hon'ble President Droupadi Murmu presided as Chief Guest, hosted by Chief of Naval Staff Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, with a ceremonial Guard of Honour welcoming her. The demonstration involved over twenty naval ships, including the indigenous INS Vikrant, submarines, air assets, and Marine Commandos (MARCOS), underscoring India's maritime strength. The event included cultural performances and concluded with a Beating Retreat by the Indian Naval Band, celebrating the Navy's evolution under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision, transitioning from a 'Buyer's Navy' to a 'Builder's Navy'.
