On January 16, 2026, National Cadet Corps cadets participated in the Republic Day Camp 2026 at 61 Cavalry Ground, Delhi Cantt, showcasing their equestrian skills in a spectacular horse show. The event saw cadets competing in tent pegging and show jumping, with awards given by DG NCC Lt General Virendra Vats and officiating DG Remount Veterinary Corps, Major General Balaji. Among the winners were Corporal Sahasransh Singh and Under Officer Rajveer Kaur. Cadets from various NCC directorates underwent extensive training, earning accolades in national and regional equestrian competitions. The DG highlighted the confidence and discipline instilled through such training.
