NCC Celebrates 78th Raising Day with Commemoration Ceremony

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) commemorated its 78th Raising Day with a wreath-laying ceremony at the National War Memorial in New Delhi, led by Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh and DG NCC Lt Gen Virendra Vats. The event highlighted the NCC's role in nation building and youth development, with girl cadets also participating. The NCC has grown to 20 lakh cadets across 713 districts, engaging in various public service initiatives.
