NCDC's Initiatives to Strengthen Cooperatives in India

The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), under the Ministry of Cooperation, has launched several schemes since 2019 to promote and strengthen cooperative societies in India. These include YUVA SAHAKAR for innovative cooperatives, AYUSHMAN SAHAKAR for healthcare, NANDINI SAHAKAR for women's empowerment, DAIRY SAHAKAR for dairy cooperatives, SWAYAM SHAKTI SAHAKAR YOJNA for women self-help groups, and DEERGHAVADHI KRISHAK PUNJI SAHAKAR YOJNA for long-term financial assistance. The NCDC also supports deep-sea fishing and seafood processing initiatives, with detailed project data provided for various states.
