NCVET Grants Awarding Body Status to Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University

The Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) has been granted the status of an awarding body by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) as part of a recently signed agreement. This enables KKHSOU to assess and certify learners for their qualifications. The first approved qualification under this new status is "Solar Plant Installation and Maintenance Technician," aimed at boosting the renewable energy sector in Assam by providing technical skills for solar power system installation and maintenance.
