NESIDS-OTRI Initiative for North Eastern Development

The North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS) aims to enhance infrastructure in the eight North Eastern States of India by providing financial assistance for various projects. Restructured in 2022-23 into NESIDS (Roads) and NESIDS (Other Than Roads Infrastructure), it has sanctioned 29 projects with an expenditure of Rs. 462.21 Cr as of July 2025.
