NESTS Concludes Three-Day GI-Tagged Tribal Art Workshop in New Delhi

The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, wrapped up a successful three-day National Level GI-Tagged Tribal Art Workshop & Exhibition at IGNCA, New Delhi. From November 24-26, 2025, the event hosted 139 EMRS students, art teachers, and renowned artisans to foster cultural pride and vocational skills through hands-on training in India's Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged art forms. The initiative supported the vision of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat," promoting cultural unity, education led tribal mainstreaming, and indigenous knowledge exchange. The program culminated in a vibrant exhibition showcasing the students' artworks, emphasizing their empowerment and future opportunities, while highlighting India's diverse tribal art heritage.
