NESTS Organizes Successful Three-Day Tribal Art Cultural Extravaganza in Delhi

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, through the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), successfully hosted a three-day National Level GI-Tagged Tribal Art Workshop & Exhibition at IGNCA, New Delhi. The event, held from November 24-26, 2025, aimed to promote India's Geographical Indication-tagged tribal and traditional arts. It involved 139 EMRS students, 34 Art & Music teachers, and 10 master artisans from across the country. The program fostered cultural unity and skill-building, reflecting the Prime Minister's 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' vision. The students participated in hands-on sessions with master artisans and showcased various tribal art forms. The exhibition on the final day showcased student artworks, with all 173 pieces sold, underscoring the event's success in promoting indigenous knowledge exchange and supporting tribal education and empowerment.
