NESTS Wraps Up Successful Tribal Art Workshop in New Delhi

The National Level GI-Tagged Tribal Art Workshop & Exhibition, organized by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, concluded its three-day event at IGNCA, New Delhi. The programme highlighted India's diverse tribal art forms, featuring hands-on experiences with master artisans for 139 EMRS students. This initiative was in alignment with the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' vision, fostering cultural integration and skill-based learning. Students showcased and sold 173 artworks at the event, emphasizing the success of indigenous knowledge exchange for tribal mainstreaming. The event saw support from cultural performances, live demonstrations, and broad public engagement, promoting awareness of GI-tagged crafts while integrating traditional knowledge into educational frameworks.
