NHAI and Konkan Railway Forge Infrastructure Development Partnership

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate integrated infrastructure development. This collaboration aims to leverage the technical strengths of both entities, focusing on efficient and safe road and rail projects in challenging terrains. Key initiatives include the development of rail-cum-road bridges, multi-modal logistics parks, and joint research on advanced construction techniques. The MoU will remain effective for five years, with a Joint Working Group to oversee project implementation.
