NHAI Promotes Women Empowerment via 'Project Saksham'
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), in collaboration with the Vertis Foundation, is spearheading 'Project Saksham' to empower rural women through skill development. This initiative operates through 12 training centers across India and has trained over 6,000 youths, with more than 80% of participants being women. By equipping women with vocational skills and financial knowledge, Project Saksham aims to foster financial independence and social empowerment for rural communities.
